5 /5 Nicole: I travelled all the way from Newcastle for this and boy it did not disappoint. The kebab was the best I have ever had, the service was great and the value for what you get is unmatched. Id go as far as saying best kebab in the UK! Dont miss out. You get a side of basil, onion and a lemon which is the perfect to have with both the lamb kebab and the chicken was so juicy I went back for another portion and ate it in my car. Thank you :)

I first tried it a few months ago when visiting England and had it again yesterday.honestly it was one of the things I was most excited about for this trip. The quality was exactly the same as last time. You can see how consistent they are with their method,I even noticed the cook using a thermometer, which tells you how serious they are about getting it right every time. Some reviews mention the lack of fancy service, but that’s missing the point. This isn’t a fine dining restaurant,it’s a takeout spot that focuses purely on what matters: authentic, perfectly cooked kababs. No seating, just the best koobideh you’ll find, true to the roots of the land where kabab originated. A simple yet genius little place. I’ll definitely keep coming back every time I’m in England.

5 /5 Kiefer Merckx: Koobideh is the best lamb kebab I have ever eaten. Hands down. Portions are amazing, the meat is great, the grilled tomatoes are fantastic, paired with the shallot basil and lemon it is truly unreal. Watching the guys cook, they temp every single skewer coming off the coals. And it all looks incredible. The food is quick and the guys behind the counter are incredibly friendly and helpful. If you want delicious Persian street food, this is your place.
