Omari B. I was at Queen Elizabeth Hospital celebrating the arrival of a new baby in the family and needed to grab some food. I’m only saying that to give context, because this meal somehow still managed to be a close second for best part of the day! Went for a platter and got the duck suya and calamari and honestly, meal was done long time and Im still thinking about it. The duck was packed with flavour, with proper spice to it and cooked just right. The calamari was crisp, not rubbery, plantain was perfect and the jollof was amazing. It was fresh and everything tasted like it was made with care. You can tell they know what they’re doing. Was just trying to get some quick food, ended up finding a new hidden gem!

millie halsall myself and my partner were looking for somewhere to dine before heading over to the theatre and we are SO glad we decided on this restaurant! we were seen to as soon as we entered and were quickly seated. the staff were incredibly attentive and checked back quite often. there’s the option of table service from staff or the use of self-service tablets on the table which we loved it as it meant we got to see photos of the food and what to expect. there was even a little comments button so you can remove certain items from your meal if you wish (definitely useful for me removing the chillies from the katsu). there are also physical menus that you’re given on arrival which was great too! the food came out quick, hot and so well presented! it is honestly some of the best food we’ve had on any of our dates - i definitely recommend the thai duck stir fry and the japanese katsu. portion sizes were very good, we’re already planning our next visit!

Marie Zheng We had such a wonderful time here! The food was fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere was lively with a great selection of songs. The service was excellent – very attentive and friendly, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. A special thanks to A-Ling(阿玲), who looked after us so kindly. She was warm, thoughtful, and made us feel very welcome. It was lovely to chat with her, and her kindness really stood out. Overall, it was a fantastic evening – great food, great music, and truly great service. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Rock My Bowl -

Mark Harman These are quite simply the very best sandwiches I’ve ever tasted in my life. There’s always a good variety, including fish, vegan and other options as well as imaginative variations on the classics. Is someone who absolutely adore sandwiches, I can’t recommend Rock my Bowl” more highly The coffee is undoubtedly the most delicious flavourful coffee you can get in London. So many outlets claim excellent coffee, but this one really delivers!

dimple madnani I went to Saka Maka in Sydenham with my family today. Had a great time. The food is lip smacking. My 3 year old also enjoyed the food. We ordered vegetarian options and were really happy with the dishes. Would definitely visit again.
