Lemon Grass - (Near Berkshire, london)

2 /5 d42mat: Expensive, ok food but stingy rice portion! I had a delivery order.. The jalfrezi was nice. It did smell a fair bit of wood/fire presumably from the chicken tikka in it being cooked in the tandoor. The naan would have been nice had it not been dropped in the ashes of the oven. I had a couple of mouthfuls of charcoal/ash with it. The onion bhaji was not the nice round ball but a small sized flat one. Not as nice as the ball style. The rice was the biggest disappointment as it was a half size foil container. Very stingy I thought. When spending over £30 just for one person you expect the have enough to make it stretch to two meals. You simply cannot do that with this size portion of rice. I know there’s a cost of living crisis (hence wanting to stretch it to two meals) but surely you could have only saved a couple of pence by giving me a smaller rice portion than any other takeaway?!? I won’t be coming back unless this gets rectified.

5 /5 Jim21 Official: Very nice place staff welcomed us with verry good customer service And I went in that restaurant nearly 5 times got good service The food was amazing with good service and the staff was nice and helpful And got plenty space for cars park It’s nice place I would like to visit again

1 /5 Mr Anon: Chose Lemon Grass for NYE dinner, delivery. Biggest mistake of the year! We normally use a different local takeaway, now I know why. Food took over an hour to come, so I had to phone to chase. They told me it would be another 20 mins or so. Finally it arrived after about an hour and a half...one of our mains was missing! Onion bhaji was completely burnt, like trying to eat burnt toast. Another phone call, and eventually after 2 hours we got our food. After the wait, food was very average. (Yeah yeah I know it was NYE and busy, but dont advertise service level on delivery of an hour if you cannot commit to it. And quite frankly an hour is shabby anyway). The only positive - we know why we regularly order from a far superior kitchen where the food is top quality and always delivered promptly. My mistake for trying something different I guess.

5 /5 Graeme R: My wife and I ordered a takeaway and once again the food is amazing. I had lamb biryani and my wife had lamb madras. As on previous occasions the flavour was great and portion size perfect. Would definitely recommend.

5 /5 Taras Byca: We LOVE Lemon Grass - to dine in (quite basic decor, yet the staff are extremely personable and very accommodating) as well as our favourite takeaway … even though there are at least three Indian restaurants that are closer to our home. Lovely food matched by lovely people and service. Highly recommend.
