We really enjoyed the food here and it felt so authentic (I’m from Hong Kong and my husband has been to Hong Kong multiple times), he said that it really feel like a cha chaan teng and better than the ones he’s been in our last trip! Bonus point was that it’s also dog friendly so we could show our dog a taste of Hong Kong. Highly recommend the baked chicken curry with cheese and the chicken with dried noodles!

5 /5 Nyasha: You know a look place when you walk in and its the culture of that food in there. In this case Hong Kong. Bernie the owner was kind and accommodating. Food was 10/10. I had the curry chicken rice and cheese bake and the french toast which was special as well as the salty 7up. Ill be back

From the moment you step in, you can tell this place is all about authentic East Asian flavors done right. The food is genuinely delicious, comforting, and tastes just like the real thing — no shortcuts, just quality and authenticity. The menu is simple and easy to understand, which makes ordering a breeze, and every dish feels carefully prepared. One standout is their Hong Kong tea — rich, smooth, and perfectly brewed. It’s easily some of the best I’ve had and pairs beautifully with the food. If you’re looking for authentic Hong Kong–style café food away from the usual crowded spots, Lion Rock delivers in every way. Amazing food, great tea, and an unpretentious atmosphere make this place a must-visit. Highly recommended

5 /5 Sam M: Lovely Hong Kong Cafe in MK - We enjoyed the dishes (char sui pork with spaghetti, toast with fluffy scrambled egg, Hong Kong milk tea, a salty lime soda, bandit chicken wings, and a beef brisket baked rice). The cafe was accommodating, we are a family of four with two young children - high chairs were provided and some sweets for our daughter. We turned up without a booking parking in the adjacent car park. Free Parking for 2hours.

5 /5 Martin C: One of the most authentic Hong Kong’s style Cha chaan teng restaurant in the UK. Price is very approachable, with some of the Hong Kong’s style “fast meal” below £10. Food is very authentic and even the plate itself is the same as Hong Kong.
