Burrito Mex (حلال)Balham hill/ Clapham South -

Rating: 4.6 /5
Efe Zeybel It was a great idea to have burritos late at night — definitely one of the best decisions we made. We looked around a bit and decided to order two types of quesadillas, chicken and beef, along with chicken nachos. The quesadillas were wrapped in aluminum foil, so they arrived very hot and delicious — we loved both. The nachos, however, arrived cold, and the chicken and cheese were frozen, but the chips were still nice and crispy. I definitely recommend this place — if it’s this good even for a late-night order, imagine how great it must be normally!

Rosy Lea Cafe -

A Jay Lovely full english breakfast. The staff were warm, welcoming and made us feel at home. The decor was fab! Love that it is called Rosy Lea. Had us reminiscing through the cockney slang! Definitely be visiting again, only thing missing was black pudding.

K C Went for lunch on a quiet weekday and it was honestly such a nice little surprise. There were only two other tables, so it felt really relaxed and peaceful — the kind of place where you can actually hear your own thoughts while deciding what to eat. I was looked after by a lovely attentive lady (Asian, I’m so sorry I forgot her name!) who was amazing. She brought water, complimentary prawn crackers, which disappeared suspiciously quickly and gave us some great food recommendations. Always a good sign when the staff actually help you decide instead of just saying “everything is good.” The food itself was delicious: hot, fresh, and clearly made with care. Also the portions are no joke. I appreciated that they offered takeaway boxes because my eyes definitely ordered more than my stomach could handle. The price range is very reasonable and the decor is lovely too — cosy but still stylish. Overall a really enjoyable experience. Great service, great food, and free prawn crackers… which honestly already puts them ahead in life. Would definitely come back!

Mr Tandoor Clay Cook Pros - Westminster

Rating: 4.9 /5
Deus_Code Where do we even start? It is the most important landmark in central London. It calls to me like a sirens song across Victoria. I hand over £5 for the Mr tandoor box and it feels like I’ve committed a robbery. The chicken? Consistently perfect, soft and tender like a mother’s kiss. The peri salted fries? They should be regulated as a class A substance. They’re ‘basic’ in the same way the sun is ‘basic’: essential for life and glowing with power. But when combined with their signature sauces, it transcends simply ‘chicken and chips’ and becomes a spiritual awakening of your third culinary eye. I tell you now: if I am ever on death row, do not bring me a steak. Do not bring me a lobster. Go to Victoria, find bossman, and bring me the Tandoor box. I will go out with a smile and peri-salt on my lips. While the politicians argue down the road at Westminster, bossman simply serves the people. Long live the Mr Tandoor box, a king’s feast for a pauper’s coin.

Anzeela Khanal I had an amazing experience at aloo tama. The food was absolutely delicious. You should definitely try Chatpate here, and also their momo is so flavorful. The ambiance is cozy and feels like you’re in a tiny corner of Nepal. Our server Nikku was really sweet. Overall if you’re looking for a great Nepali restaurant then aloo tama is your place to go.
