Adrienne G A Toca had an extensive menu showcasing the vast Portuguese dishes. We were met with a friendly waiter and ordered a few dishes that all came out very filling. The seafood rice was rich in flavour, the umami from the mussels and prawns came through. What was a standout with this dish was the serving portion for the price point and the amount of seafood you actually get. The grilled octopus was nicely charred and cooked well, not too chewy. The pork and clams dish was an unexpected star of the dish. Not familiar with this combo, it surprisingly melded nicely together. It was seasoned well and the potatoes with the dish still had a nice crunch to it despite it soaking up the delicious sauce. Would come back here again!

Miguel Angel Rubio Velásquez Without a doubt, this is one of the best Latin food spots in London with excellent customer service, great food offert and located next to the train and tube station.

kian nabi Avli is absolutely fantastic! Their meat platter was a masterpiece – a combination of 4 types of grilled meat; All juicy, flavorful and grilled to perfection. All skewers were marinated and would melt in the mouth with their soft texture and rich flavor. (Suitable for 3-4 persons) Spanakopita was fresh and tasty. The crust was crispy and the filling was perfectly balanced. Fried calamari was fresh and delicious as well, but I personally prefer tempura fried calamari. Tzatziki was out of this world. (It can be enjoyed most if one likes the taste of garlic.) On top of the incredible food, the service was warm and attentive. Interestingly, the restaurant is run by a greek family who do their best to create a memorable experience for the guests. Everything there was top-notch – Avli is definitely a 5 out of 5 experience!

Claudia Aragues I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years, and the quality has never dropped -no matter the day or time you visit. The food is always fresh, beautifully cooked, and full of authentic Portuguese flavour. You can genuinely taste the care that goes into every dish. Consistency like this over so many years is rare, and they absolutely deliver it every single time. The service is just as impressive: friendly, attentive, and welcoming without ever feeling rushed. You’re made to feel like a valued customer from the moment you walk in. If you’re looking for top-quality Portuguese food with amazing service and a place you can rely on again and again, this is it. Maria Komba As regulars and steak lovers my boyfriend and can easily say its hands down the best steak in London, above Hawksmoor Blacklock and all others. Dani, Belén, Tanesha and of course the rest of the staff are always so welcoming and warm. The steak is always perfectly cooked and melts in your mouth, the chef is truly unrivalled. Also appreciate that the Milanese from the lunch menu has finally made it to the dinner menu, it was such a treat on our recent visit! Triple cooked chips never fail nor the veg. The La Linda pairs amazingly with the meats, and if you have room for something extra do not skip the churro and ice cream and the dessert wine. Always a pleasure :)

Jeremy Irwin A bit rough and ready but easily my favourite Ethiopian place in London. Have been going for 6+ years since I moved to London. Still trek here for dinner even though I no longer live round the corner. Wonderful owners. Flavours, portions and quality are always consistently great.
