3 /5 Lisa Kingston: Booked Marle for my engagement lunch celebration with my parents and fiancé. Food was very tasty, and seasonal. Fantastic for veggies. Sadly lacking the 5* service which was a huge disappointment. We arrived early hoping to have a walk around the 400 acre estate advertised so beautifully online. However, as non hotel guests, you only have access to the walled kitchen garden which was not quite as we had envisaged for our county walk to be so short! We then asked for a pre-lunch cocktail which took forever, when it arrived we were then moved to the table after spending about 20mins looking at the menus which we had to ask for, plus the wine list and cocktail menu, the service was very clunky and did not match the price tag. Main courses were also forgotten. It felt very impersonal service and no reference was made to our special occasion. Which I had flagged when booking and on the reminder email 48hours prior to our arrival. The moon bar is also only accessible to hotel guests, which again is a shame, as it had a lovely roaring fire. Again, something that could have been nice to offer us given occasion. Glad we tried it, and the food was delicious, but I wouldn’t rush back for the service.

5 /5 Michael’s Reviews: This Green Michelin Star restaurant is an absolute delight to the 5 senses! With a menu that owes a large portion of it’s fresh ingredients to the farm on the property, the chef has designed a menu that offers deliciously flavorful cuisine that is unburdened with heavy sauces and overly rich combinations. We thoroughly enjoyed the light, fragrant fare, packed with natural goodness. Of course, the well appointed restaurant and terrace with sun kissed views of the natural landscape only added to the charm of the experience. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

5 /5 Dion Spikes: Superb meal at Marle. Was interested by the focus on sustainable and natural produce. The cooking was perfection, all dishes extremely well put together. Presentation was sensational. I found the atmosphere of the restaurant to be a great blend of pristine service accompanied by a friendly and welcoming attitude. Certainly not stuffy at all. Highlight dish was the trout main which is probably the best fish dish Ive ever eaten. It was cooked just right and not over-dressed, the quality of the fish spoke for itself. Best potatoes ever! Simply scrumptious. Can not recommend Marle highly enough.

5 /5 Sarah C: We had a fantastic experience here tonight. Service was exceptional. We had a lovely member of the waiting team called Miranda looking after us. Miranda was so proactive and on the ball- faultless! The food was delicious and well presented. It was my husbands birthday and they had taken note of this from the reservation. They went to the effort of writing him a card, wishing him a happy birthday on arrival and presented a dessert with a candle to blow out at the end of the meal. Really felt special. The interiors are also beautifully designed and considered. Highly recommend.

5 /5 Desmond Shum: Restaurant w excellent ingredients and good cooking. We entered the restaurant and we marveled at the view over an valley. Young staff are courteous and tried to be helpful. The cocktail, lemon margarita, was excellent. We ordered the two sharing plates on the menu, fried vegetable and coppa. Dishes are well presented and cooked w excellent ingredients. The wine list is quite comprehensive, though I would say the good one are probably about 20% overpriced, compared to restaurants of similar caliber. Overall, we are really pleased with restaurant and are looking forward to revisiting
