1 /5 eva bailey: We went in expecting a good evening, but unfortunately the experience was very uncomfortable. The staff themselves were polite and clearly doing their best, but it was obvious they were under a lot of pressure from the owners.
We visited last Saturday. We had already advised Becci not to go due to previous concerns, but still decided to give it a chance. When we arrived, We were told there was no DJ, yet music was playing and was actually quite good — so the information given wasn’t accurate.
There were multiple ongoing issues throughout the night. The toilets were blocked, the venue was very cold due to broken heaters, and they ran out of white wine, rosé, and prosecco. About 30 minutes later, wine arrived it’s was aldi’s , wasn’t cold, and we had to cancel three bottles because of this.
Food and drink availability was very limited overall. The owner stood watching us for most of the evening, which felt intimidating and unnecessary, creating a tense atmosphere. One interaction in particular came across as rude and unwelcoming.
When we went to pay, the music was switched off before 11pm even though we still had drinks and were planning to stay longer and order more. Because of this, we decided to leave and continue our night elsewhere.
The staff were not the issue at all — they were friendly, polite, and professional despite the circumstances.
Would not return.
