Melissa Eisner I mean … sure, every pub boasts being the oldest in the UK, but I’m pretty sure this is the real deal. Beyond the history in a historic location, this pub is bomb.com. Great service, great menu. Loved the chicken wings, and the burger was fab! And who doesn’t love a good pint to wash it all down. Highly recommend!!!

tanya arguijo Her most delicious place to try the British tikka masala. Its really wonderful. They greet you with such friendliness. Explain the menu if youre not aware of something. And give you a sample appetizer. That was really delicious! From start to finish the meal is an experience you dont want to miss.

Alex Pierce From the service, to the atmosphere, to the food prices, and the food everything was fabulous. We ordered a variety of dishes including the crab and lemon pasta, the short rib pasta, and the lemon chicken. Everything was great. Some shared a bottle of wine, with great selection, and others had a meter to sours, though limited liquor menu. We shared the chocolate mousse and tiramisu for dessert. Prices were reasonable and portions were plenty. Highly recommend if you’re in the area. But, suggest getting a reservation in advance!

Diana T Really nice coffeeshop with a great selection of coffee and smoothies. The coffee is smooth and well made, and the smoothies are especially good. You can tell they’re made from fresh fruits, not syrups or powders. Everything tastes fresh and well balanced. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, making it a perfect place to sit down, catch up with friends, or just enjoy a quiet moment with a good drink. I’ll definitely be coming back.

John Downs Dinner for two on a quiet Thursday night. Very good food..the sole exceptional, the cottage pie delicious. The menu had a good mix of interesting dishes..."British" cuisine..in a very good way. Drinks reasonably priced for central London. Very close to Cannon Street station but tucked away off the main road, and below ground. Quirky decor that I found very appealing. Attentive service from staff who know their dishes. Note...not open at weekends...this is in the commercial part of town! Highly recommended for couples, small groups and business meetings (they seemed to have a projector screen discreetly concealed...so maybe good for small group lunchtime meetings).

Allen I saw some interesting comments for this place, so i wanted to give a shot. Well, its pretty good for this price which actually surprised me. And the location is great. only 15mins walk from london bridge
