4 /5 Janina Ylikahri: This place serves amazing and very fresh food! We visited in late August 2025 and had the lamb kebab and burrata flatbread. Both were incredibly tasty and the restaurant has great atmosphere with the fire and music. The only negative was that the beer served wasnt very cold (and warm beer isnt nice) but the food was 10/10!
5 /5 Phill Lyddon: Wow, found The Pit by accident, amazing food, great atmosphere and lovely staff. We pitched up and they found us a table outside near the bar, it was amazing, even at the end of February. The staff were lovely, I cant recommend it highly enough.
2 /5 Conor: Visited on a Sunday and had a largely disappointing experience. We waited over 60 minutes for our food. While it was busy, a simple acknowledgement of the wait time or pressure on the kitchen would have made a difference.
We were buzzed twice and told our order was ready, only to find it was not. Parking in wet conditions was also poor, with mostly grassed areas. Heaters not on too. The food itself was good, although one item was ready later. The overall experience left a lot to be desired.
4 /5 Sarah Mayers: Love the concept…..loved the food
But…..we visited on 31st Jan…..heaters not working so really cold and not comfortable. Just wanted to eat and leave.
If you’re going to open for winter months you need to get the basics right.
Staff said heaters keep tripping out and only work intermittently!
Sure it’s lovely in the summer months!
Darren Such a warm homely feeling in this Pub. A Very comforting and relaxing atmosphere.
The building is beautiful from the outside and inside the seating and furnishings are to a high standard.
Food is on par and on a level you’d expect for the price.
A lovely Pub and definitely recommended.
Marie L Lovely staff. And I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast this morning.
Nearly 3 weeks of being a visitor, it was lovely to see friendly faces and have some nice food.
(No offense to other places to eat, just needed a breakfast)
Cathy Mark I travelled from the City of London to Seven Sisters and came across this bakery. I bought bottom, meat pie, and wheat bread. All very fresh and tasty. The service was good. I would absolutely recommend this place if they maintain these high standards in quality, taste and service.
f shirley “shirlz” I couldn’t wait to try this Haitian restaurant. It was exciting to know there’s Haitian cuisine all the way in London. As soon as we walked in I felt the warmth and so welcomed. The drinks had the perfect mix of liquor- they definitely didn’t hold back. The food was delicious, fresh and authentic. I was pleasantly surprised. We ended up talking to the owner as we dined in. You can see when someone really pours their love into something. Great experience, great food
