The food is always fresh, beautifully cooked, and full of authentic Portuguese flavour. You can genuinely taste the care that goes into every dish. Justin Mallett Mine and my wife’s first time here. It didn’t disappoint. Location is great. Views lovely. Service exceptional. Food really good. But. When paying the bill I asked if the service charge was added, which it was but was informed that the owner (He was eating there with his family at the time) keeps it!? I’m not one to pass judgement but I’m hoping the staff get bonuses if they’re not getting the tips as they were great.

edmund price My first taste of west African food, the jollof was very nice, but personally I wish that it would be served with a separate side of yoghurt to balance out the spiciness. The spice was a bit of a surprise to me. Atmosphere was wonderful, reminds me of a pannier market sort of atmosphere, even struck up conversations with complete strangers, that was nice. For London it is cheap, about 14 quid a meal. Though that being said, in other parts of the UK you could get a good Sunday roast for £14, is it equal to me to a roast dinner? no, but I imagine that many west Africans in London could enjoy this taste of home made for them, without the effort I imagine it takes to do yourself. I suppose its worth trying at least once, because like me in my situation visiting the city from a rural backwater, it is worth seeing what the world has to offer

F1 Ology Mumbai Delight? It certainly lives up to the name. I ordered a takeaway via Deliveroo and, honestly, this might be some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had. Everything was packed with flavour and clearly cooked with care. The lamb bhuna was outstanding, generous portions of tender meat, rich and properly spiced. The garlic naan was excellent too, soft, fragrant, and spot on. But the real surprise was the mushroom rice, which may genuinely be the best I’ve ever had. Incredibly flavourful and absolutely delicious. I can’t comment on the in-house service as this was a takeaway, but judging by the quality of the food and the strong reviews, I’ve no doubt it lives up to expectations. This is definitely a place I’ll be making the effort to visit in person hopefully sooner rather than later. Highly recommended.
