Philosopical Wolf Amazing Gastropub for Lunch Diner and special occasions, especially during hot British summer. Went there last August for friends Brithday dinner and it was amazing for a pub. The Steak was very tender and good portion size, the sause was a bit to strong for me but other wise very good. Went for the apple crumble for desert which I was not a fan off as it was very tart but the wine and cocktails made of for it, very good quality (coming for a bartender) I got their Amerreto Sour (my favourite) and it was smooth and creamy.

Karem, our server, was brilliant—he really went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. Its also nice to see a manager on the floor, keeping things running smoothly. Tivi Naves Local gem. Was meaning to give this restaurant a try for a while. It is now my go-to place for a takeaway or dine-in. The restaurant is located by belsize village, just a little bit to the side. There are enough sitting tables outside, as well as inside. The window fully opens, making it an open plan sitting space with fresh breeze. As you enter, staff welcome you with a smile. I also noticed a lot of people come in regularly, based on how they were welcomed. That is telling of a restaurant being welcoming and offering good quality dishes. We went for a shareable duck and watermelon salad, which came out fresh, with fresh and crispy herbs, fresh fruit and tender pieces of duck. The portion was very generous. For seconds we had sweet and sour prawns and pork belly with rice, both were superb. Very high quality food, very well prepared. The portions were generous, we even asked for the leftovers to be packed as it was enough food left for later. Overall, the menu offers a wide range of options to choose from. A mocktail was as well very generous and tasty. Drinks menu has a lot to offer. Very happy to find this gem. Will definitely be supporting this small local business in hopes they remain open and continue with this standard.

Julia Sui Everything in the picture, including the filet mignon which we didn’t photograph, is highly recommended. I especially loved the artichoke dishes, which we ordered twice. The staff were lovely, the atmosphere was calm and not noisy, and the food was fresh and delicious. We were truly impressed. Thank you so much for the comfortable hospitality and the trustworthy service.
