5 /5 Mario Caruso: Wonderful Japanese food ! Both takeaway and eat in was delightful. Bento boxes very generous portions. Quality ingredients are used. Delicious tasting with classic touch. Staff is friendly and attentive. Service quite fast and polite. Lovely Tempura and fresh Sushi !

1 /5 Fred DeMarcos: Awful noodles made by a chef who doesn’t care about the culinary experience of his customers. Chicken karage wasn’t karage but repurposed chicken nuggets with a flavourless peanut sauce. I cannot overstate how insipid the prawn yaki udon was and I’m baffled as to how this restaurant has garnered so many positive reviews.

4 /5 R: Tasty all you can eat dishes. Lots of sushi rolls to choose from but not many sashimi choices. Choices of cooked dishes were good too. The service was good. Reasonably priced compared to other all you can eat Japanese food. The downside is that its not too good of you have a young child as they dont have changing facilities and only seems to have one high chair in the whole restaurant.

5 /5 Damian Cannon: We visited Saki purely by chance after watching a film at the nearby cinema. The menu looked attractive and the restaurant was pretty busy, but not full, at 7pm on a Sunday evening. Inside its a fairly basic environment but really youre here for the food. On that score Saki is notably excellent. We started off with some duck gyoza and smoked eel sushi. The latter was exquisite with the eel and rice arriving warm with a lovely freshness - and the gyoza was tasty too. For the main course I decided on raw tuna with a wasabi crust along with some soup. The tuna was really excellent; soft but meaty with a subtle heat from the wasabi. All in all the food was really very good - which is probably why there was a constant stream of deliveries heading out of the door. I can see us returned to Saki again as the dishes were lovely and not crazy expensive. We were well looked after and the all-you-can-eat menu sounds like its worth a try.

3 /5 Elizabeth: Went to Saki yesterday with a friend and her baby (1 year old). We were assigned a table near the door and offered a baby chair, we waited and the baby chair was no given to us nor were we told where to put the stroller. We decided to accommodate ourselves and moved a table to fit the babys stroller near us. After we had accommodated ourselves, almost 10 minutes later, a worker/ waitress comes to us to tell us off for moving a table, at which I explained the reason. The worker made us stand up and she moved everything back to how it was and then direct us to where to keep the stroller and they bought the baby chair to us (which we couldve done ourselves but the baby chair was nowhere to be seen). While waiting for our order to be taken, the baby started drawing on a napkin (with the pen provided for the all you can eat). The baby as per nature put the pen in her mouth but we anticipated and "closed" the pen so ink was nowhere near her face out mouth, before we could even react to this, the worker came up to the table and again told us off because of the "ink" which later on as she put her hands on the baby to take the pen out of her mouth, she realised the baby was NOT eating ink (we understand its not ideal to let the baby put the pen in her mouth, but she didnt even got even suck on the bit where ink comea out). To avoid any issues we open one of the chopsticks and gave 1 to the baby, its a wooden stick with no splinters that she could somehow safely put in her mouth under our vigilance. Once again, same worker comes to discipline us and the baby, about the chopsticks being "toxic" (if so, why are they given to customers to eat their food?) To which I replied "Shell be fine, were both looking after her". We felt very uncomfortable having a stranger come up to us to discipline us and tell us how to look after the baby as this is not her problem as the baby was not in any life threatening situation. Also, on the "all you can eat" sheet it states that all products with a * next to it have an extra price and the price is in brackets next to it. As part of our "all you can eat" we ordered mochi (which DID NOT had any * next to it) The lady told us that this had an extra price as it had it next to it in brackets which I questioned because the product didnt have the * that indicates this... At which the lady rudly said "this is the price, you want it or not" at which I said yes (was too uncomfortable already to discuss anything). Even tho it is NOT a problem to pay extra, it would be GREAT to add the * on ALL THE PRODUCTS that require extra payment as it states on the "instructions" on the sheet, so please have a look at this :) Apart from this, food was good and we had a good time (or at least tried).
