2 /5 Audrey Teo: We really wanted to like this place after hearing about it for ages from so many people. It has got a different name now and I believe it recently changed management.
The lady who served was was really friendly but was not very much help in recommending meat or seafood dishes, said she was veggie which was fair enough. The place was totally empty on a Friday evening which was a warning sign we should have heeded.
We wanted to like the food, but it was not nice at all. Some effort was made but definitely not restaurant quality. Squid rings limp and soggy, prawns not de-veined. Rice with oxtail was tasty but a bit too crunchy for our taste. The iberico pork was cold inside.
Extremely disappointing. Spanish-Caribbean sounds like such a great food fusion idea. If only they could cook better. Ingredients were definitely good quality but they need someone who knows how to cook better.
