5 /5 Nicole Benford-Beck: Didnt know what to expect with this place, the outside looks a little local if you know what I mean. Wow, this is one not to be missed! The food is fantastic, the staff could not be more accommodating and the atmosphere was perfect. We ordered the steak platter.....will be dreaming of this for the next few days. The steak was cooked the perfect mid/rare, chips chunky and crispy and the cabbage laced with bacon....winning!

4 /5 Tim W: Friendly welcome. Unpretentious. Good pale ale. Nice decor. Its not a gastro-pub but the butter chicken and chicken burger were both perfectly decent and reasonable value. There were a number of larger groups eating and it feels well set up for that. The only minor improvement would be if they kept the kitchen door shut to keep the noise down.

5 /5 Nicole Conn: Found the best roast in Oxford!! The meat was tender, both the beef and pork was truly cooked to perfection. Gravy was so tasty and not normally one to care for the vegetables but there was an amazing selection including a brilliant bacon cabbage. My whole family are tough critics and we were all praising the food! The sticky toffee pudding was equally insanely good. The staff overheard us celebrating and brought us out a bottle of complimentary bubbly, so thoughtful! I whole heartedly recommend this place for top quality food and service.
