5 /5 Photocrazy Travel: Welcoming pub, the owners Max and Dom amazing. They offer their own lager which is very nice! They have entertainment on nights and dog friendly. Highly recommend!

5 /5 Andrew D: This is one of Hastingss classic old pubs situated near to All Saints Church at the end of All Saints St. The interior is full of old wood, creaking floorboards and exterior there is a beautiful three level garden at the back with apple and pear trees and lots of seating. Ive been coming here for over 15 years when on holiday in Hastings and has changed management a few times. The ale is at the pricier end being a Shepherd Naeme tenanted pub. I was super pleased the food hasnt suffered under the new management and actually has maintained the excellent standard. As a seafood lover, there are always 2 or 3 amazing options - we had the baked cod and mackerel fillet options, both were delicious and Id highly recommend. Card is taken and evening food service begins at 6pm. There is live music on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

5 /5 Rose Meredith: What a gem of a place, tucked away from the hub bub of the main street. The garden is amazing and you could sit there all day. The food is fantastic and very reasonably priced. Great beer. If I lived closer, this would be my new local.

5 /5 M G: Fantastic pub with the best Sunday roast going! I can honestly say this really is up there as my fave! The chef Leanne is incredibly talented who is passionate about good food which shows every time we come here. The new owners are very welcoming and very lovely lads, they breathe a breath of fresh air whilst still keeping the cosy pub vibe. Absolutely love this place.

4 /5 Morten: I’ve been coming here a couple of times a year for almost 15 years, only on Tuesdays for their folk sessions. The pub is under new management and I had a nice chat with one of the new licensees. Tonight was a bit quiet but it will be lively come mayday weekend. Only two ales on tonight (none on form…) and the folk clientele seem to be getting older by the year. Cask now £5.60. Bottles at decent price point.
