5 /5 Ben Rowe: Popped in here with my daughter before seeing a show at the New Wimbledon Theatre which is directly opposite.
I booked it because it was close, and was expecting an average to decent, quick lunch - how wrong I was! This place is so, so much better than I could have expected.
The food quality was very very high: there aren’t many family run places in this part of London that cook a steak so well (or indeed who actually listen to how you want the steak to be cooked).
We also tried some of their more Greek/Cypriot starters - all were delicately cooked and the flavours were balanced very well indeed (paprika and oregano were obviously used, but not overpoweringly - real class from the kitchen).
It’s in Wimbledon, so it’s not dirt cheap but we thought it was excellent value.
It will be our automatic lunch or dinner venue next time we come to the NWT. Highly recommended.
