5 /5 Lisa Atkins: Came in last week to watch the rugby, with a group of friends, what a great atmosphere, staff were lovely and welcoming, food was delicious and hot. Drinks were flowing. Nice place to be will definitely come back!!

Steeped in history and full of charm, it feels like stepping into a classic English country pub with a beautifully warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food is consistently excellent – fresh, well-presented and full of flavour – and the staff are genuinely friendly, attentive and make you feel at home. A perfect spot for a relaxed meal or a special occasion. Highly recommended!

2 /5 Antony Thompson: Come here often as it’s my local, been really impressed with the refurb and it has a fantastic range of drinks, food is normally really nice but unfortunately I ordered the gammon and it was the thickest piece of gammon I’ve ever seen which unfortunately wasn’t cooked all the way through and was still raw. I told the staff member about it and fair play to her she offered a new plate which I wasn’t fussed about but was given a free pudding which was nice. Just hoping I don’t get food poisoning from the gammon. Being a Friday night and a sports bar it is loud and rowdy, so if you’re thinking of a quiet meal here you might want to look somewhere else.
