5 /5 Amy Willis: We visited as a group of 16 (8 adults and 8 children ages 3-12) on a Sunday afternoon for a roast dinner served in a giant Yorkshire pudding, as big as the plate! It was spectacular! It was £25 and there was a choice of pork or lamb. The pork was a thick slice from a joint wrapped in crackling. For me, the crackling could have been crispier, but it was full of flavour and not soggy.
They have a childrens roast dinner with a chicken option available. The childrens meals came with a drink and ice cream.
I had the Caesar salad, and I love it when there are anchovies added.
The outside area is amazing for kids. With a number of climbing frames for different ages, all of them enjoyed it. There were also a little play houses, cars, swings, and even a pirate ship (The external play area in the field next door wasnt there).
There is also another outside area away from the play area, perfect for child free, al fresco dining.
Weve been here a number of times and it is always good food and good service.
