5 /5 Cara Daydreameruk: Seems the new owners are doing just as good a job as the last ones. A joy to order, fantastic communication and exemplary food too. Had a delicious coffee and a sandwich that was heaving with super fresh fillings. Perfection.

5 /5 Daisy Offer: Had a lovely family breakfast at the Food Gallery in Marlborough. Breakfast was much better value than other places in Marlborough and it was delicious! Very friendly and helpful staff who accommodated our group with 2 children and a baby very graciously!

2 /5 James Sewall: Our first and last visit. Made the effort to walk up to the cafe as its at the far end. Very busy we want a small snack and drinks. We had two venues which offered different bread options but when we went to order they now only do sourbread which I hate which closed half the venue to me, so we ordered drinks only, the coffee came Luke warm and in a cup without handle ok if its cool but if hot not so good, asked to heat the coffee up which they did, poored my tea to find that was cool also, no tea spoons and had to ask I left the tea as we had already mooned once. The lady on the table next to us was moaning about the scrabbled eggs being on her toast making it soggy. Not a cheap and expected better

Right on the High Street with parking close by, it’s a true local gem — welcoming, relaxed, and full of character. I absolutely love the owner, Ben, who is incredibly kind and genuinely passionate about the place. You can tell he cares deeply about the customer experience and has great ideas for keeping things fresh and improving the layout. The café already feels so warm and inviting, and his enthusiasm makes it even better every time I visit. The atmosphere is perfect for everyone — families, teenagers, parents, and people like me who sometimes come solo to work or just enjoy a quiet coffee while soaking in the friendly Marlborough buzz. It’s great for a working morning, a relaxed lunch, or simply sitting back and chatting with locals. The coffee is exceptional — their bespoke roasted blend is rich and smooth, and the hot chocolate is one of the best I’ve had. The menu is brilliant too: English breakfasts, poached eggs, panini, soups, salads, sandwiches with fresh meat or fish fillings, homemade sausage rolls, vegetarian options, and delicious cakes. Everything tastes homemade and thoughtfully sourced. The staff are always attentive, friendly, and genuinely care about your experience. The Food Gallery offers that perfect mix of comfort, quality, and community — the kind of independent café that makes Marlborough special. Whether you’re grabbing breakfast, lunch, or just a refuel during a High Street wander, it’s the ideal spot to relax and enjoy a proper coffee. I can honestly say this is my go-to café in Marlborough for work, lunch, or simply a calm, welcoming moment in the middle of the day. A brilliant independent coffee shop that truly deserves its reputation.

5 /5 m kp: Because we thought The Food Gallery was closed, we tried a few cafes before we discovered that it was in fact still going. The first place we went to had a sign telling us to wait to be seated, eventually after locking eyes with a few waitresses one came over and informed us that we could come back in 15 minutes when she might have a table. Not in a manner that made us want to wait! We left the courtyard and headed to TFG. The welcome as soon as we opened the door was friendly, inviting and they were clearly pleased to see us. We were guided to a table but told we could obviously sit anywhere. They were busy but everyone were all smiles, keen to help and as theyd sold out of the drink we wanted, they suggested a similar which wed never had before - pumpkin spice latte has now been added to the top of the list! Thank you for brightening up our day.
