Mas Certainly a place to be in Caversham. This newly opened place serves almost every drink at the bar. The service is from very helpful and polite staff and the ambience is great. There’s no full food menu but they do serve some snacks and cakes to go with your coffee!

Mirjana Fowle Everybody should experience The Mill at least once. It is very indulgent, food for the body and soul (literally!). The car park is small, but parking attendants help to get as many cars as possible. And it’s free. You start downstairs in the bar with all the twinkly lights and view of the mill wheel which transports you back in time while you sip on a drink (or two). Then you are taken upstairs for an evening meal. You get your dedicated table and a server who is there to make your evening comfortable. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant, there is no rush and our waitress was fantastic, very polite and friendly. Bread, butter and olives were already waiting at the table. You get to choose a main meal and dessert from the set menu (5 choices each). I had a salmon followed by vanilla pana cotta and coffee/tea in the end. That’s all included in the price of your ticket. The food arrived really quickly, it tasted delicious and we had plenty of time to chat and enjoy the atmosphere. After the meal you proceed to the theatre, which is cozy and no matter where you sit, you will be able to see every little detail on that stage. The show was a tribute to Lionel Richie and Diana Ross. We loved it, even if the drums were way too loud, the singers were excellent, including the backing singers who danced all the way through it. Audience was engaged, singing and dancing. It was a fabulous evening out and we have already bought tickets for our next show. We cannot wait!

Becca Robinson Another great "Lounge" by the Loungers chain. We ate here on a Friday mid morning- it was busy but we were able to get a table easily. It was very loud due to how busy it was and its probably the smallest Lounge weve visited so noise was possibly more concentrated. Food was lush and perfect portions. Service was quick and friendly. Ideal.

Phoebe H We come here often for afternoon tea and its always fantastic. Nuno was super attentive and accommodating, and the food was delicious as always. We also really appreciate the extra mile taken for my mums birthday.

Kay Griggs-Wright Sandeep remembered me from a take-away order, which was delicious. I was delayed for my booking. Sandeep understood and went out of his way to provide an excellent experience. Above and beyond - most excellent customer service! Bonus, the curry was also very tasty. Thursday or Friday, give The Bite a try. I predict you wont be disappointed.

Tyler Robert (so 2 years on) Happy to see the place back after its abrupt closure a while back. Food as good as I remember and service as on point as always. Looking forward to going back again and again to enjoy it.
