4 /5 Marion McHardy: A real mixed bag of reviews! This is our experience and review. Choose the time you go carefully so of course avoid the 1pm - 2pm rush. I havent been here for at least 4 years and what a difference! Either order at the till (with your table no) or scan the code to order from your table. We arrived at 1.55 on Friday when there was a lull in orders and people finishing their lunch. I had a tuna cheese onion ciabatta with salad and my daughter had mozzarella pesto tomato flatbread with chips; both really good. Our drinks, tea and peach tea arrived very quickly and food shortly after. Lovely hard working friendly staff as well so we enjoyed our lunch. : ))

5 /5 Jim K: All round positive experience. We were in a group of 11 and managed to find 3 tables to pull together on a Saturday lunchtime at midday. When we ordered on the app it said we might have to wait 20 mins, but the food started arriving within 5 mins! The food was of good quality and the portions were well sized. Prices are reasonable for what you get and for dessert the ice cream was genuinely excellent. They did get one order wrong and offered to change it for us and the staff were all very kind, smiley and friendly. The atmosphere was good, if slightly noisy, but thats to be expected given the number of people in the large hall. We will definitely be back.

5 /5 Nicola Gibbs: I booked an afternoon tea in a pod for myself, my mum and my aunt today. I have to say that Fiona was absolutely AWESOME!! She attended to our every request with a smile and some great chatter. Fiona is a true asset to the Mulberry Tree at Ruxley! GIVE HER A RAISE!!! The food was outstanding too. A really lovely afternoon tea with the best scone I have ever had in my life. So thank you to Fiona for making our afternoon so special. And thanks to the kitchen for the beautiful food. I booked this afternoon tea as an early Mother’s Day treat and I am so glad we went. It was perfect and I highly recommend!

3 /5 Jose Goncalves: Hi Me and my partner use to eat on this restaurant every single weekend. On the months from April to December 2025, we presence good service, good food and served in good timing. However, we noticed a complete turnover, especially on the staff. They got completely lost and serve the drinks after the food. When supposed to be first. The staff was different, without a smile and not nice. So I suggest to the management to consider employing back the staff that was before. Otherwise this restaurant will loose clients, starting by us. We spent thousands here already. Thank you.
