The Old Sergeant Pub - (Near , london)

Stephanie Blenko Currier Its taken us a while to get a Sunday booking here, but after our recent meal I can see why theyre so popular! We really enjoyed their refreshingly original take on a Sunday roast that still celebrates the flavours and ingredients of the season. We were particularly impressed at the portion of the main meats, which although pricey, provided very good value for money. I was very grateful that the staff were knowledgeable and confident on gluten free options - our waitress quickly brought over a menu marked up with hand written notes on what was safe and what could be accommodated. We were so full from the meal that we opted to share the peanut parfait for dessert, but it was so moreish we found ourselves wishing we had ordered two. Really looking forward to coming back again soon to this cozy and inviting pub.

Tsunami Pizza is a nice after climb meal. While the cafe doesn’t have the most inviting lighting/decor, you’d be mistaken to assume that it’s not: the staff here are friendly, and the people who frequent the cafe are regulars who know the staff and each other. The pizzas were great: nice crust must most importantly they were perfectly salted. If I were to nitpick: the ingredients weren’t of the highest quality, but the pizzas are fairly priced so one can’t complain.

Esme Batchelor Well what can I say? I contacted Gemma at Benny Blancos 7 weeks before our wedding as our caterer had cancelled. Gemma talked me through everything, prices, how it all worked etc and she gave me the time to think about it without pushing me for a decision. The pizzas were truly incredible and and the service ran so smoothly - everyone had a really good feed and commented on how good the food was. The salads were a fab touch too! As the bride and groom we didnt end up eating until we got home (the joy of photos etc) but between the guys cooking and our wedding coordinator they put some aside for us and they were just as good cold! I would highly recommend and would definitely book them again!

Harry Ring Have eaten here a few times now and always really enjoyed it. The food has always been perfect and staff are lovely. Its usually quite busy - I guess its popular with people staying at the Heythrop hotel as its the closest pub - but its never heaving. Id say you still need to book, but thats the norm for pubs round here now .

Anziii Pansy Thank you so much to Copper Chimney, for the most fantastic dinner, where we celebrated my brothers birthday. The service was phenomenal, Muhammad Boshir was our server and what a kind gentleman. He was absolutely so lovely. The food was hot and fresh. Truly what desi food should be. This was my first visit and it will not be my last. Please do come here. And my mum said it would make for a perfect date night too!

Lorna Hanks-Keith Amazing food, enjoyed my seafood tagliatelle, desert was decadent and service on point. Cant beat the proximity to the beach and seafront views!
