The Eagle - Buckinghamshire

Rating: 4.5 /5
Jarrod Hunt I love this pub. Very local as opposed to the big one up the road. Very friendly staff and good service. Food menu is not massive but good value, and has something for everyone. The beer garden is lovely, with a nice view over to the cricket pitch across the stream. Definitely worth a visit!

Robeson Kianush (ikiaman) The food here is simply divine. Every dish we sampled from the menu was incredibly delicious. The specials board which is presented to each table individually had some great choices too and comes with an explanation from the staff. Most unique is the desert trolley which is a fun spectacle and holds pretty awesome sweets.

The Wyvern Restaurant - Buckinghamshire

Ivan Lovegrove A (late) Sunday lunch for three of us, to include; shared starters of mixed breads and salt & pepper squid. A Pork Belly roast dinner, a Beef roast dinner and a Chicken and Bacon Caesar Salad for our main courses; the roasts with a generous complimentary glass of house wine. The history (15th century origins), aesthetics, authenticity and wealth of architectural details (both inside and out) are self-evident and certainly unique. The recent understated and classy refurbishment and décor still lets the history andnarrative of the building speak for itself. The team working today were personable, hospitable, attentive, patient and kind. The food was attractive to look at and quite simply delicious

Bistro Twelve Twenty - Buckinghamshire

Rating: 4.8 /5
Rebecca L A pleasant surprise at this small bistro as it serves innovative and tasty dishes, which is as good as restaurants in Central London. There were several dishes that I wanted to try, but I was happy with my final choices. I did not realise that Amersham is a ‘foodie’ town, so this visit has triggered my interest to explore more in the future.

T Eley Very friendly, the lady that served us was on it! We both had full English and the value for money was brilliant. Would definitely go back.
