Honestly I’m sorry for the scathing intro, but I was so bitterly disappointed by this roast I was left with no choice. The cabbage was by far the best bit. It was all just mediocre even though the chicken was corn fed. Mashed carrots aren’t a thing. Puréed carrots, yes, roughly mashed no.
The staff mind you were incredibly sweet.
And the Syrah wine was excellent.
5 /5 James: Amazing neighbourhood pub. Amazing roast. BUT, pleeeease please bring back the salsa verde on the Sunday roast chicken, AND rhe chicken thigh croquettes (sensational). Ps. If you have already brought them back, sorry.
5 /5 Tommy Gunn-Cullin: The Prince went above and beyond for us. We turned up with a group of 17 that quickly grew to 25, and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating – they made sure we were comfortable even as we practically took over the space. The food was outstanding: I had the vegetarian mushroom Wellington and it was simply sublime, especially paired with the great beer selection and well-crafted cocktails. But the real standout was our server, Jasmine. Hard to believe it was only her third day – she absolutely nailed it. She’s exactly the kind of team member worth holding onto, and I hope her management knows it. Couldn’t fault this place. Thanks Jasmine! xxx

Very tasty food, excellent service and great value for money. The kids meal was very reasonable.
They even did a cute "Happy anniversary" dessert for us!

Brian Lim We just walked in without a reservation and got lucky, snagging a table in like 2 minutes, even though it was super busy on a Saturday night. We were pretty surprised to find a Singaporean restaurant while we were visiting the area. We ordered Assam Sambal Prawn, Kang Kong Belacan, Rojak, and Chiew Yim Tafu. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted just like it does back in SG. All in all, it was a great dinner for us.
