Shokudo Southampton -

Scarlett Yeung We had takeaway from Shokudo a few weeks ago. The sashimi was fresh and delicious. You can tell the chef truly cares about the standard of the food. The portions were generous, which made it even better value. We ordered the Hokkaido Don and the minced tuna with marinated egg yolk — both were absolutely delicious. I would definitely say it’s worth a visit if you’re a fan of Japanese cuisine.

Chris Sykes 5 star in every way The cocktails are fantastic, we were served by Jacob who was friendly, knowledgeable and made delicious drinks. We then had a fantastic meal, our server was friendly and attentive. The food was really good quality, each element well thought out. The wine list could have been a bit longer, but I hear they are working on that.

Ahmed Alrowaili Beyond delicious authentic food. Everything was literally delicious and I will be back to try more. The curry hummus with lamb is outstanding along with the egg and cheese paratha. The place is packed in the morning but line was fast. The atmosphere for me personally was not a favorite because I do not like loud music and dancing in the morning which happened in one phase and not the whole time

J Leonard We visited yesterday and I forgot to mention that my son was coeliac. However I was very pleasantly surprised by the choice on the menu and the understanding of cross contamination was great. Chips were GF. Lots of dishes on the menu were GF and they had GF burger buns and bread plus GF Yorkshire puddings with the roasts. Food was delicious. Generous portions and very tasty. So nice to see GF catered for. Would recommend.
