5 /5 Keeva Butler: A lovely tea shop with some delicious cakes. We stopped whilst doing The South Downs Way walk and had a delicious cream tea with beautiful homemade scones, jam and clotted cream. Would highly recommend this place for a light bite and some lovely sweet treats.

5 /5 JLo: First visit to this Lovely quaint tearoom. I had the smashed avocado and poached egg on toast which was plentiful and tasty and nicely presented. I do think though that the coffee is quite pricey for what you get which is a very small cupful. Also I did noticed that there was a menu in the window which didnt reflect the prices on the menu we were given. Not sure if this is an oversight of updated menu prices. I would recommend anyone who is visiting the lovely village to visit the tearoom.

5 /5 Joseph Fernandes: I had the avocado smash with bacon, and it was comfort food. The matcha late was one of the best I have ever had! Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. If you can, grab a sit outside and soak up the local atmosphere. Well worth a visit.

3 /5 Ian Fry: Popped in here for lunch and we ordered a couple of sandwiches, scones, and a couple of hot drinks. For the most part, all fine and delicious - loved my avocado, bacon, egg & chilli toast. However, the person I was with had ordered a sandwich specifically without mayo and tomato - the sandwich came with both. This was quickly remedied - or so we had thought. Except, halfway through eating, it was clear that all they had done was attempt to scrape it out as there were still tomato seeds and mayo remaining in places! This could be terrible for someone with allergies. I raised this with the staff and they did comp that sandwich, but it still put a dampener on what should have been a nice experience.

5 /5 Sara Ratcliffe: Amazing, quaint little cafe with friendly wonderful staff. Was so happy to find this gem when i really needed it. A friendly welcome and a beautiful oat latte was all i needed! There is seating out front to soak in Alfriston, also a garden out back in a courtyard. Dog friendly. No vegan sweet that i could see, but they did have a gluten free option, vegan breakfast available.
