The food is fresh, flavorful and generously portioned making it a great spot for both casual bites and full meals. The pub has a mix of seating including cozy corners and open spaces for socializing. Kim Mansell THE best place to eat in Deptford!! I thought the brunch was amazing (chorizo bagel is heaven) but then we went for the new rotisserie chicken and it was incredible! Succulent, good quality chicken that it brined over night and cooked to perfection along with the most delicious mushroom cream sauce! The wine is beautiful too, a glass of premium red or white that goes so well with the food. The owners are just so lovely and welcoming, you will come here and feel like you left as part of the local community. Coming back for the amazing looking cocktails soon!

Ayşe Nur Ülker I recently visited Cliffords and immediately wanted to try their First Table offer. Initially, I wasnt sure if the place was open from the entrance, but it turned out to be a wonderful Italian restaurant in the basement. The ambiance was really nice. The staff were exceptionally attentive to allergens and were very polite and friendly. We were planning to order the arancini and meatballs, but our waiter informed us that the meatballs were a pork-beef mix, so we decided not to get them. The arancini was truly exceptional. We then ordered the mushroom pizza and buffalo pizza. We would have loved to stay and enjoy the atmosphere for hours, but unfortunately, we were in a bit of a hurry and had to leave. The kitchen team did an excellent job, and since we were the first customers of the First Table offer, they sent us Nutella donuts on the house. I must say, it was the best warm donut I’ve ever had. The cinnamon and orange zest created a fantastic aroma. Overall, it was an amazing experience.

Domonique Tulloch I was craving chinese food, and have not had it for a long time, mainly due to often being disappointed. After searching long and hard, this had the best reviews overall. I am so happy I took the plunge as the food was delivered hot, tasty and fresh. I am super happy I have found a decent chinese, so I will be ordering again in the future.
