5 /5 F Ben (Kiko): I want to preface this by saying I really love coffee shops in general.
Ive been around the world and tried coffee from every country Ive visited.
(The best coffee was in central Indonesia.)
This place is really high on that list.
We had 2 flat whites, a cheeze bagel and a slice of the chocolate banana cake.
The coffees were made perfectly with really nice bodied beans with a slight floral tang.
The toasted bagel was great and the cake slice (which had hints of ginger and nutmeg) was actually probably the best banana cake Ive had, really very impressed.
Best of all, at £3.55 a flat white its CHEAPER than Starbucks which has access to a massive supply chain, and huge capital investment.
Even the paper cups and cardboard cup lids show you this companys care about their footprint and echo a message of responsibility while not sacrificing quality.
Before we left, we both bought another coffee for the long walk back. Something historically weve never done.
If youre nearby (and even if youre not) this is a quiet spot with truly exquisite food and coffee all at prices that almost feel too cheap.
