3 /5 Zi Siddique: I usually love yim chai, but recently it’s not hitting the same. The restaurant was cold and they wouldn’t seat us further into the restaurant. We had the salt and pepper squid to start and to be frank it was barely edible we left all the condiments on the plate as you can see from the photos as it was too salty!
The Shanghai Chilli chicken is usually so flavorful but it was just lacking. The beef Hofun was fine as was the. Singapore Laksa, but they’ve really cut back on the amount and type of seafood they put in it now. Disappointed with this visit, hopefully they will improve.
