The Chimney Lift at Battersea Power Station - (Near Lambeth, london)

Very informative and answered all our questions and gave us some fantastic facts about London. Thanks for a fantastic trip

3 /5 Becky L: A fun experience. Expensive for what it is (a 5 minute lift ride and a very small exhibition explaining the building) but it is nice to ride up inside the chimney and enjoy the views. The tour guide gave us a nice speech at the top to explain the views - thanks!

4 /5 Lucy: Its definitely worth a visit but the only downside is I booked a slot 13:15-13:30 on the day and was not in the actual lift until 14:00 was all delayed, plus they expect you to spend Id say around 15 minutes through this interactive museum. Most people I was with werent interested in this and had limited time on a day trip. We just wanted to go up in the lift to see the view. By the time I was out Id lost an hour of my day and my friend who doesnt like heights was going where are you?! Another guy I was with was worried he was going to miss his lunch reservation. But that is the only downside, overall its excellent and the staff are all lovely.

5 /5 Lynn Mumford: First time to visit the Power station and it’s amazing, well refurbished with every shop and cafe/restaurant you could imagine. Being new to the place the lift was not well sign posted but a bit of wandering and we found it. The queue was about 20-30 minutes from an actual queue to an information/observation area to a short film and up 38 steps and we were in the lift. Plenty of information from our lift guide Mason and we were up. Not as high as the Shard our highest building in London but the view was still fantastic. Plenty of information provided on the history here. Would definately recommend a visit here. We bought ticketing in advance as it was quite out the way for us and didn’t want to be disappointed, but there’s plenty to do if you have a wait.

3 /5 Ian Jackson: Not bad the views up there were brilliant but thats about as good as it gets, the down points it gets are security they are meant to check your bags for some reason well he parted it down didnt look through it said the drink bottle we had water in was fine but the half bottle of pepsi I had told me to remove the lid to continue to take it with me! WHY what difference does having a lid make? If I drop or spill that drink Id get told off but wont do damage if I had a lid so told them they can keep the drink if they want to dispose of it they can do that, that straight away spoilt the vibe of the place for me as if theyd checked there was a half drunk bottle of water in bag didnt take that and didnt give an explanation as to why can take it with a lid. Second issue put in a room to get first lift once in sound effects didnt work then when lifts arrived we bundled in to one and some in the other lift that left our one had too many people inside so me my wife and daughter had to get out and then had to wait till a lift came back down for us 3 and then once in main lift up to the top it just felt like there were too many in the main 109 lift as it was cramped to move around to see all 360° views. But the views were good.
