Coco Grill & Lounge - Southwark

Natalia PR The service at Coco was top quality from start to finish. The portion sizes were very generous and definitely worth the price. The overall experience was amazing — I loved the theatrics when serving both the food and the cocktails. It was refreshing and quite liberating to visit a restaurant that doesn’t serve alcohol, especially when the cocktails were so good. The attention to detail throughout was excellent, from the presentation to the atmosphere. The views were beautiful, the restaurant itself was stunning, and the vibe was spot on — helped by a great DJ. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and would highly recommend it.

Tony PM One of the best Indian Restaurants in London. Cosy. Romantic. Food tastes brilliant. Ask for what you want and they can custom cook just to your taste. Good menu with a full selection of mouth watering dishes and flavours.

Scruffy O Was really looking forward to this and it didn’t disappoint. I went on Saturday 2 Jan 2026 lunchtime and it was quite busy generally in the food hall, but after ordering at the counter, the food was ready in a timely manner. I ordered the fried chicken banana leaf meal (husband had the chicken curry banana leaf meal) and a side of mutton rolls. It was all beautifully presented and the taste lived up to how it looked. I thought it to be really good value for money, the portions are generous without losing any quality of taste. Everything tasted fresh and well seasoned. The mutton rolls were a generous size, crispy, spicy and delicious. The fried chicken was very tasty and not too greasy or oily. All the acompaniments - veggies, potatoes, sauces, rice, popadom, fried chilies - were great. My husband and I were staying at the Marriott hotel opposite, so location wise was perfect. Also close to the Elizabeth line for anyone coming that way. I’d already gotten fed up of the abundance of restaurants in the area which charge a lot of money and deliver a subpar experience (average food, ridiculous upcharges, etc). Gopal’s corner is one I’m definitely going to return to when we stay at the Marriott again, and I can imagine I will eat there multiple times during our stay. Thanks to Mr Gopal and team for satisfying my spicy Asian food fix!

Eden Cheung Tried the BBQ Pork & Crispy Roast Pork Rice with Fried Egg and it was absolutely delicious. The char siu was tender and slightly sweet without being overpowering, while the roast pork had perfectly crispy skin and a great balance of lean meat and fat. The fried egg on top with a runny yolk brought everything together beautifully when mixed with the rice. The greens were fresh and added a nice balance to the dish. Generous portion, great flavour, and very satisfying. Highly recommended if you love classic Cantonese roast meats. Would definitely come back again!

Natalie Wo Best Caribbean restaurant everything is produced fresh as you wait expect a little waiting time for your food but it’s well worth the wait. I had butter fish with steamed vegetables more than enough for me.
