The curry is rich and full of flavor, with a well-balanced blend of spices and a thick, hearty texture. The meat is tender and cooked to perfection, and the garnish of fresh coriander adds a nice, aromatic touch. Portion sizes are generous, the food tastes homemade, and everything pairs beautifully together. A great spot if you’re craving authentic, comforting South Asian food. Highly recommended for naan-and-curry lovers!

A M The best pub meal I’ve had in my 35 years lived. Simple dishes executed perfectly. Quality produce, lovely ambience and venue. Good service. What was ordered: Chicken liver parfait (the relish was balanced and clean, the brioche was light but crisp enough to hold the parfait) “Fish and chips” (airy, crispy and light battered haddock with house cut chips. Perfect mint and pea sauce, clean tartare more on the side of mayonnaise but balanced when mix with the gherkin sauce) Double cheese burger (the house cut smoked bacon was the star. The burger sauce was on point). Onion soup, Mac and cheese, steak with chimicuri were also ordered. Everything was faultless. I look forward to my return.

Yannis Themelidis A fantastic night out from start to finish. The dining room is beautiful and the atmosphere warm and inviting, though the seating is slightly tight. Every dish was expertly executed. The skirt steak was tender with perfectly crisp chips, and the scallops and prawn salad were fresh and full of flavour. The sticky toffee pudding was a real highlight—rich, indulgent, and beautifully balanced between sweet and salty. Attentive service, a delicious red wine, and a well-priced menu made it an experience we’d happily repeat.

Sarah Backshaw Amazing restaurant and delicious food! My husband booked this for my birthday and what a treat it was. The atmosphere was cosy and everything tasted fresh and full of flavour. A special shoutout to our server Stacy who was so funny, friendly and attentive from start to finish. The service didn’t feel rushed at all and we truly felt completely looked after, nothing was too much of an ask. We will definitely be back! Thank you again

Bethany Loh I haven’t eaten here… YET! But I had no choice other than to make a special trip here just to take this photo! This is our Dog Aslan. He was rescued from the streets of Kalkan in Turkey and is the softest most loveable dog anyone would ever meet. He gets very excited at the smell of Turkish food since his career in Turkey as a professional beggar at restaurants. I had to bring him for a photo at Aslan’s Kitchen. We are local and will certainly be ordering from here very soon

Ellie Some wonderful cooking here by a lovely friendly team with a memorable wine list to boot. It’s an absurdly picturesque spot with some nice ducks and cats around. Hard to have a better late lunch on a summer Friday…
