Rina L. Absolutely amazing food and service. It felt like a little escape to Italy without leaving London. Good food, warm lighting, lots of sharing plates, and that relaxed energy. The kind of dinner you leave feeling full, happy, and already thinking about when to come back.

Lewis Leach My favourite Indian takeaway. The kulcha naan is amazing. Food is always hot, and it tastes great. The delivery drivers are also always friendly. Order direct if you can :)

MADDOGLEP I think this must be fairly new as I have no recollection of this pub / restaurant. Thomas Paine has strong local connections, unlike Casta and Madge. He helped inspire the American revolutionary war and almost lost his head in the French one. Silly so and so. I had another Harveys Sussex best bitter. One of three real ales on my visit. Very good. Up steep stairs finds a roof terrace. Must be lovely on a warm sunny day / evening. Free wifi.

Jacin Absolutely lovely! The people are so friendly, food was amazing, and the environment was equal parts chill and cozy ☺️ Definitely a neighborhood staple and one not to be missed. I had the harissa eggs which looked spicy when it arrived but was actually just perfect and the avocado was so fresh!

Karen Anderson My first time, went with a friend who lives locally. Absolutely delicious food and friendly service. Lots of locals came in while we were there to sit in and get take-outs so obviously has a solid customer base.

Bobby Valentine An exceptional New Year’s Day dinner at Rules. The food was outstanding from start to finish — classic British dishes done perfectly and full of flavor. Every course felt thoughtful and true to the restaurant’s long history, and I genuinely loved my meal. A special mention to Katerina, our waitress, who was warm, attentive, and professional without ever being intrusive. Her service really elevated the entire experience and made the evening feel relaxed and special. Rules continues to be one of those rare places that delivers on history, atmosphere, and quality every single time. We’ll absolutely be back.
