3 /5 Arthur Bingqian Ma: We went to Bombay Brothers for their weekday lunch thali. I love thalis as small plates is my favourite format to try a variety of food, regardless of cuisine.
We got 1 veg thali for £13 and 1 non-veg thali for £15. The items that were common across both were: papad, Basmati rice, vegetable kadhai, dal tadka, raita, gulab jamun. The veg thali also had a paneer spring roll, palak paneer, and roti, whilst the non-veg thali had haryali chicken tikka, butter chicken, and naan.
We both enjoyed the food. The vegetable kadhai was surprisingly great, really flavoursome and still full of texture. The butter chicken was sweet and really creamy, and the chicken was still tender. The haryali chicken tikka was green from the coriander and mint marinade, so it tasted fresh and juicy. Everything else was fine but nothing special, but we thought for £13-15 for a weekday sit-down lunch it was a pretty good deal, and would consider coming back as the thali items do rotate occasionally. Hope you get a chance to try it too! :)
