Chor Bazaarr Restaurant & Bar - (Near Berkshire, South East)

4 /5 Rah Kumar: Visited twice now and the food is lovely and definitely has an authentic taste of India. This a lovely restaurant if you would like to indulge in an Indian fine dining experience. Key stand outs for us were the veg Manchurian balls for starter (not photographed unfortunately!) and the lamb Rogan josh. The lamb was succulent and the curry was full of flavour with a medium spice. Weekends can be very busy with families and dinner parties. The bar is part of the restaurant which means it can become a little loud but adds a lot of character to the restaurant if you dont mind that vibe. Overall very satisfying experience to dine in here. 5 stars given based on food taste and quality. Kindly note that the service could be improved a little as on both occasions we were kept waiting for our bill to arrive but understand that servers had to attend to the tables and bar. We will be back soon!

3 /5 Tina Agarwal: We recently visited Chor Bazar and ordered chicken kali mirch, dal makhni, and butter naan. Unfortunately, the chicken kali mirch wasn’t very enjoyable the flavour didn’t really stand out and felt a bit flat. The dal makhni was also not quite up to the mark in terms of richness and taste. The butter naan was decent. Service-wise, we had to request cutlery after the food arrived, and the dishes were served separately in different bowls and plates, which made the presentation feel a bit unorganised. Overall, the experience was average for us. There’s definitely room for improvement in flavour and presentation.

3 /5 Libby s: I was disappointed with my first visit to Chor bazaar. Having seen it online I was looking forward to my visit. The staff were polite , decor was unique , restsursnt was clean and they served the food very quickly. It was fairly empty at 6pm. The food however was a let down. The papri chaat was 80% papri and hardly any potatoes and chickpeas. My friend got the half grill and said the chicken was ok but the lamb chop was very dry. I ordered a curry and while the sauce was flavourful there was six little chicken. Perhaps 2-3 pieces at best and not even like a tikka piece. Just shredded bit more like. . It was all curry sauce. The naan was small for 3.50. We had one starter one side and two main , no drinks and it came to £48. There are many food places in slough with better quality of food for cheaper. Restaurant was a little cold but did see heaters around. We personally won’t be coming again.

3 /5 Nitin Agarwal: Had dinner today at Chor Bazaarr and overall it was a decent experience. We tried the Dal Makhni, Chicken Kali Mirch, Railway Chicken, and Butter Naans. The food was good but a bit hit and miss, some dishes were enjoyable while others didn’t quite stand out, so I’d rate the food around 3 stars overall. That said, the Butter Naans were fresh and nicely done, and a couple of the curries had good flavour. Service was clearly a strong point, the staff were attentive, polite, and made us feel welcome throughout the meal. The atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable, with a nice dining vibe, which I’d happily give 4 stars for both service and ambience. With some improvement in food consistency, it could be a much stronger overall experience.
