Becky Greenwood We had our work Christmas party here on 3/12/25 with table of 12 and chose the festive menu. The food was great and everyone really enjoyed their meals. The service was excellent friendly, attentive, and made the whole evening run smoothly. A fantastic place for a group celebration, highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Elodie Junkere A warm & welcoming atmosphere from staff. The vegan menu is abundant with familiar & more traditional items. Saying that, I played it safe with a plantbased ‘lamb’ korma, and wow it’s probably the best curry I’ve eaten

Michael Williams Walked in and was immediately met with a genuinely warm welcome. I was acknowledged straight away, which already set this place apart. The gentleman serving me was respectful, friendly, and just an all-round decent bloke you could tell he actually cares. I haven’t even had the food yet, but the service alone has already been better than any other breakfast café I’ve been to. I didn’t want a couple of items and, without me even asking, he recommended great replacements. That kind of thoughtfulness is great. Outstanding service. Already feeling the difference.

andy b I met Bonnie today when I visited to collect some food. The meal was beautiful. Fall off the bone chicken curry, wonderful rice and peas, delicious mac and cheese, a tasty chicken patty and some beautiful soup (the name of which I can’t recall). Bonnie is such a welcoming and kind host. I’ll definitely be back to sample the rest of the menu. This restaurant is a ray of sunshine - thoroughly recommended.

Da Vincis (Mediterranean/Italian Hornchurch) -

Lloyd Stevens Da Vinci’s It’s been six years since Craig took over the reins at Da Vinci’s in my hometown of Hornchurch and during this time he along with his wife have turned it back into a great family restaurant it once was. You will find the restaurant in the heart of town at the beginning of station lane. The food is Italian with all your favourite dishes including pizza , pasta , mains , fish , desserts and regular specials. We’ve been visiting Da Vinci’s consistently over his time in charge and are never disappointed with the food and the service. It’s a fabulous local restaurant and the prices on the menu reflect that which is why it’s not hard to see that they have so many local regulars. Da Vinci’s also hosts singers on Friday evening’s and themed music Saturday brunches to once again bring the community together. Craig is by himself in the kitchen but has an assistant on those many busy times. The front of house is led by Giovanni who couldn’t be more friendly and welcomes you with open arms. If anyone ever asks me for a restaurant recommendation I will always mention Da Vinci’s and the feedback I receive is nothing but positive. In the last five years restaurants have come and gone yet this fabulous Italian restaurant goes from strength to strength. Even during Covid he helped the local area by supplying pasta and pizza. You could also collect or have delivered food during those times. Da Vinci’s is not only a credit to Hornchurch but to the Essex dining scene itself. So yes I would highly recommend a visit and I for one will definitely keep on giving my support in the future. Our latest visit was on Saturday to celebrate our anniversary and Craig and Giovanni did not let us down. We enjoyed a fantastic lunch including the amazing dishes on the specials board all washed down with a lovely Sauvignon from the Anno Domini Vineyard. STARTER - Here we chose the Calamari and from the specials a Burrata with a tomato and orange salad. MAINS - My wife chose her favourite dish the Linguine Vongole while I loved the fabulous Mahi Mahi with spinach , creamy mash and a sun-dried tomato sauce that was absolutely delicious. DESSERT - After we enjoyed the Tiramisu and the Torte Della Nonna Craig kindly sent us the dessert from the specials a Carpaccio of Pineapple , lime and chilli syrup with a orange sorbet to perfectly end an amazing anniversary lunch. Thank You Craig and Giovanni for a fabulous way to celebrate our anniversary and look forward to seeing you again soon.
