What Clients Are Saying Depot Cinema and Restaurant (GG)
5 /5 Ian: I find the Depot such a lovely place to visit. I live in London . The atmosphere is so relaxing . The staff are 10/10. Excellent original menus at a reasonable price
2 /5 Brighton Blue: Very convenient cafe/restaurant facilities with great performances at times. However, customer service isn’t great. Leave one person to take the orders, whilst others pretend to be busy. No system what’s so ever, so allow time for service. Food is excellent, albeit slightly on the high side, but organically produced. Tables don’t get cleared that frequently. Nevertheless, a nice little theatre with nice facilities.
5 /5 Leanne Cooley: The most comfortable seats I have ever experienced at a cinema.
The screens are always clean, welcoming and a pleasure to attend to watch a film.
The little kiosk is ideal to get a drink before and the food looked delicious, although havent tried
5 /5 Rachael Sallis: Went for our little ones first cinema experience. Screening rooms are nice with comfortable seats. Hope to try the cafe next time and see the gallery. Parking is a bit difficult... either you use the station car park or the small one to the right side. Popcorn and sweets are available to purchase at the ticket desk. Lovely and clean with friendly staff. Would recommend.
5 /5 Rajeve Brooks: Went here to watch one of the film that was on during the week (Urchin) and had a wonderful experience. Very smooth process from booking online, arriving and interacting with very friendly staff. Then the actual theatre.
Absolutely comfortable 10/10. Very clean environment; comfortable seating; and the sound system was perfect.
Literally had a better movie experience here than I did at a much larger operated cinema 2 days prior.
Caitlin OConnell I had this burger today at Abyss - honestly delicious. I even got a cheeky bit of nacho cheese sauce with my chips. Thank you, this made my day ❤️
Lee Bowler This is a beautiful old pub that serves excellent beers and the best pizza you will find anywhere around here (Pats Pizza). The bar staff are very much on the ball, welcoming, knowledgeable, kind and funny. I’ve now made this my local as a newbe to Lewes. The front bar is small and cosy AF but there is loads of space at the back bar and in the fire place room. They also have an upstairs and a great terrace at the back for times of good weather. This is a must spot if you are coming to Lewes.
Robin Rudwick We went to Fish Friday at the Kings Head.
Great service. The fish was excellent. Between us we had a whole, stuffed sea bream and a lemon sole for mains, plus pil pil prawns (I think) and oysters for starters. We overdid the sides with chips plus smashed potatoes and a green veg.
Emmeline Williamson Regularly order here, food is great and has a very small wait time on weekdays. Can sometimes wait longer than told on weekends, but staff are always friendly, will continue to order!
Hannah Sierp Absolutely delicious food (the focaccia, mac n cheese bites and salted caramel brownie were all excellent), friendly and helpful service and very good value. Really great spot close to Lewes station - you can eat in or takeaway.
