Dinner by Heston Blumenthal - (Near Westminster, South East)

5 /5 Rebecca: Went to Dinner by Heston Blumenthal last night and it really did live up to expectations. We didn’t do the tasting menu (the whole table has to commit, and we prefer ordering different things), but the à la carte more than delivered. The restaurant itself is spacious and relaxed — definitely on the smart-casual side for fine dining. It feels polished but not stuffy, which makes it easy to enjoy the experience. The food highlights for us were: the flesh and rice, which was incredible, the duck, which was also excellent, and the tipsy cake, which is every bit as good as people say — rich, comforting, and the perfect ending. Service was exactly what you’d expect: attentive, smooth, and well judged throughout. Would absolutely go back, especially if you want exceptional food without the whole ultra-formal fine-dining vibe.

5 /5 Clarice Chan: Love this place, came back again! Had an amazing view of Hyde Park from where I was seated. Meat fruit is always lovely here, would get that over the truffle (though that was also nice). The duck was the best my dining partner ever had, and the cod was not bad. The mashed potatoes surprised me, as I enjoyed them much more than the triple cooked chips. Tipsy cake is always a winner! And the millionaires tart at the end was a treat. The staff did a good job when we had a celebration here. But on one occasion that Ive been there, a supervisor appeared to be dishing out corrections/advice to multiple staff, which I could hear throughout the meal - would suggest that corrections be given out of earshot of guests, and ideally in private.

5 /5 A Patel: Fantastic dining experience for a birthday celebration. The service was impeccable, food & drink was outstanding & the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. The staff were extremely patient, guiding us through all the courses, suggesting beautiful wine pairings & offering to take many pictures of our party to commemorate the celebration, which was highly appreciated. They really made our visit special & we will remember it for a long time.

5 /5 Nina Blankestijn: I always dine solo, so I was happy to get a seat with a kitchen view. There was a lot of food and Im so thankful to the staff for delaying a course for 10 minutes and giving me the option to take part of the dessert to go. It made it so I could really enjoy every course. I ended up finishing the dessert as a late night snack at my hotel! The wine was also very good!

5 /5 Khanh Nguyen: From start to finish, we had such an amazing time dining at Dinner by Heston Blumenthal. We opted to go à la carte and were not disappointed by any of the dishes we ordered. Favorites were the take on risotto Milanese as well as the shared prime rib. Even the mixed salad was stunning, just look at her! Probably one of the best parts of our lunch was the amazing service. As reserved diners ourselves, it was nice (and fun!) to see the interaction cards — should you want to dine more intimately or with more detailed storytelling per dish, the “jester” will take note. I loved that.
