Tucked away in the idyllic Cotswolds just outside Chipping Norton, The Boxing Hare is the kind of gem that feels like a warm hug from an old friend. Darren Metters The pizzas from Fire and Wine are made to order (you book an oven slot) and are absolutely fantastic!! The pizza base was cooked perfectly and the toppings were tasty and fresh. We will definitely be going again when we return to the Cotswolds next year.

VP We were so lucky to stumble upon The Cinnamon Stick. Located in the small village of Middle Barton where you’d expect nothing around, this restaurant is a total standout. It offers a true taste of Lebanese hospitality and home-style cooking. ​ The quality of food is incredible. Almost everything is made in-house (except for the gelato), and you can really taste the difference. The dishes are authentic, fresh, and truly delicious. It is rare to find such high-quality Mediterranean flavors in this area. ​ The staff is lovely and provides genuine Lebanese hospitality. You can tell the team cares about their guests and the food they serve. They made us feel very welcome from the moment we walked in. ​ If you are anywhere near Oxfordshire, this place is worth the detour. Huge thanks to the team for their service and for bringing such amazing flavors to a quiet corner of the country!

John Etheridge Excellent choice for a light lunch for us. Our sandwiches were fresh, bread toasted to perfection. Our drinks were cold and the tea hot. Friendly reception and very comfortable atmosphere at the outside seating. Would stop again if in the area.

victoria winklhofer We had the pleasure of having lunch at the bell yesterday and it was just lovely! The food, the setting was just breathtaking! Daylesford did amazing! However the most outstanding part was our waitress Leny- she was beyond sweet, informative and had great attention to detail. I would go as far as to say she was the best waitress I ever had the pleasure meeting. Big shoutout to her- she made our day!
