In my opinion, it was one of the best parties I’ve been to recently. For £49, we received a soup, a main course, and a dessert, as well as great live music and a fantastic atmosphere. It’s unrealistic to expect full individual table service at a large, organised event of this type.
We attended as a group of 15 people, and everyone felt the same way — we were all very satisfied. The food was good, the staff were polite, and the band created an excellent vibe throughout the evening. In my view, the price was appropriate for what was offered, especially considering the costs involved in organising such an event.
As for the drink prices, they are comparable to other similar restaurants — a venue has to make a profit somewhere. Of course, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but personally I have nothing to complain about and would happily attend a similar event again.
