The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between relaxed and lively, making it ideal for anything from a casual drink to a proper meal with friends or family. The pub itself is beautifully kept, warm, and welcoming, with a great local feel. The food is consistently excellent — well cooked, generous portions, and clearly made with care. Drinks are just as good, with a solid selection on tap and behind the bar. What really sets this place apart, though, is the staff: friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to help, which makes every visit feel effortless and enjoyable. 3 /5 Jason T: First time to the UK and I wanted to experience a pub, have a beer and eat pub food. This is exactly how I envisioned the experience. The bartender was so friendly when we came in, we didn’t understand how the process of ordering worked but she walked us through it with some good laughs. The food was excellent, the beer was cold and the atmosphere was cozy. It felt a little rundown but that added to the authentic feel I was hoping for.

5 /5 Jackey Y: Daria provided a superb, efficient and warm service. The kitchen truly impressed with a beautifully prepared rare steak sandwich (‘well done’ offered too), and a seasonal glass of mulled wine. Overall the atmosphere is chill, friendly and the service leaves nothing more to be desired.
