Gurkha Villa - (Near , South East)

5 /5 Enea Shehaj: My girlfriend and I recently visited Gurkha Villa, and we had a fantastic experience. It was our first time trying authentic Nepalese food, and we really enjoyed every part of it. We ordered the garlic naan, onion bhaji, a Thai cuisine set, and chicken chowmein — and everything came out together, which was great as we could enjoy all the dishes at the same time and share everything while it was fresh and hot. The garlic naan was soft and full of flavour, perfect alongside the dishes. The onion bhaji was crispy and nicely spiced, while the Thai cuisine set offered a great variety and was beautifully presented. The chicken chowmein was packed with flavour, with tender chicken and perfectly cooked noodles. The portions were generous, the food tasted authentic, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming — perfect for a date night. It was a brilliant first introduction to Nepalese cuisine for us, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend Gurkha Villa if you’re looking to try something different and delicious.

5 /5 Muhammed Merzah: Having trying Nepalese food first time, I have to stay it has to be one of the best in town. I got the set menu and the highlight dish was the Daal! Highly recommended also the staff were amazing. They greet their customers with utter respect!

5 /5 David Bradshaw: Lovely authentic Nepalese restaurant. Has a range of “standard” South Asian dishes but lots of novel Nepali dishes you probably won’t have tried before. The pork belly, buffalo jerky and chicken momos stand out for me but our party tried several really good vegetarian dishes too. Food is obviously freshly cooked so service isn’t always the quickest but that didn’t matter or detract at all for us. Extremely good value dining, significantly better than most of the local competitors. Highly recommended.
