5 /5 Cody: Visited Heavenly Desserts recently because I was in the mood for something sweet, and I ended up treating myself to their chocolate waffles. Honestly, it was exactly what I needed. The place has that clean, modern dessert-bar feel without being too loud or overwhelming. There’s this really nice smell of warm sugar and chocolate in the air that hits you the second you walk in, and it kind of puts you in the right mindset straight away.
The staff were welcoming and polite, and they didn’t rush me at all while I looked through the menu. They seemed genuinely happy to help and answered a couple of questions I had about the toppings. It’s small things like that that make the whole experience feel a bit nicer.
When the chocolate waffles came out, they looked amazing—honestly almost too good to touch at first. But once I dug in, it was even better than it looked. The waffles were warm, soft inside with a slight crisp on the outside, and the chocolate sauce was rich without being overly sweet. It tasted like proper quality chocolate, not the cheap stuff some places drizzle on. Everything blended together perfectly and it actually felt satisfying instead of heavy.
I ended up finishing the whole plate without even realising because it was that good. Overall, Heavenly Desserts really lived up to its name for me. Great service, cosy atmosphere, and chocolate waffles that I’d happily come back for again.
