Honeymoon Chinese Restaurant - Tonbridge - (Near Kent, South East)

5 /5 David Kelly: We initially came here after a disastrous trip to Tunbridge Wells where the water failed, and to be honest, we didnt know what to expect from it at all. All I can say is that we were blown away. The food is absolutely superb, you can tell that everything is cooked freshly and not re-heated, everything tasted absolutely fantastic and was delivered very quickly and by a very friendly team of staff who are lovely. The real shock came when we got the bill: this place must represent the best value for money I have ever experienced in a Chinese restaurant, everything is priced extremely competitively whilst not compromising on quality in any aspect. We arent local, but we will definitely be back. A huge thank you for turning what couldve been a tricky situation into a very enjoyable evening.

1 /5 WA JT: The “Honeymoon Spice Bag” is a thrown in a bag mix which would have tasted better after returning sloshed from the pub and feeling ravenous to eat anything from a takeaway. But if you’re in a more conscious state, then avoid this cheap and not jolly fix as beans on toast will be more satisfying. If you’re feeling adventurous, avoid the Salt & Chilli Soft Shell Crab as it tasted nothing but the tasteless thick batter the poor crustacean was dipped into. The place has received glowing reviews but maybe we have more discerning tastes and ordered the wrong nosh.

3 /5 Keith Spink: Disappointing. Visited on a Sunday. Starter was good, but main dish was poor and lacking in flavour or spice. Staff had to be prompted to take our order, and everyone, customers and staff, were wearing coats, showing how cold it was.
