5 /5 Dawn Gregory: Had a lovely afternoon today for my husbands birthday. Harvey who served us was excellent. He was professional, attentive and friendly. Food was lovely and hot. Good menu with plenty of choice. Champagne was chilled and drinks very good. Thanks to everyone who made our afternoon so great. Thanks Harvey you are a credit to the hotel. My husband had a super time.

The tranquil, extensive grounds and the stunning architecture create an ambiance of refined seclusion—a true country bolthole. The location is flawless: close enough to Glyndebourne for an effortless transfer, yet secluded enough to provide a peaceful haven away from the summer crowds.The service is where Horsted Place truly shines. The staff are impeccably professional, attentive, and warm, anticipating needs with quiet efficiency. After the opera, returning to our luxurious, individually designed suite felt like an indulgence. Our room was spacious, beautifully furnished, and offered breathtaking views over the serene parkland.Most importantly for opera-goers, the 2 AA Rosette dining is superb. Whether enjoying a refined pre-opera dinner or a restorative late supper, the seasonal menu and elegant dining room are a match for any West End establishment. 5 /5 Nick Bolding: We first went to Horsted Place Hotel in 2006 when we were looking for a wedding venue. We got married there in 2007 and over the years had 2 Christmases there as well as multiple birthdays, family meals and our 10th wedding anniversary. We came back when it reopened after lockdown and were... disappointed - the hiatus hadnt been kind to the place, the staff were all new and the food quality had slipped. But weve followed the new teams work on Facebook and recently have seen some exciting changes, so we went back. WOW! Just, WOW! The makeover has really lifted the place, lighter, brighter and more modern but still retaining the period features. The food was excellent - dare I say even better than it used to be. The staff were fabulous - well-presented, attentive and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble and small things such noting that we mentioned the English Breakfast Tea provided in the room was too floral for our taste... and sending up some standard proper brew bags instead really made a big difference. Before our post-lockdown visit Horsted was always somewhere wed recommend unreservedly... after the post-lockdown visit that was no longer the case... but after this latest visit - Horsted is BACK baby! As will we be...! 10/10

4 /5 Roger Cossey: My wife and I visited the Horsted Hotel back in November and we were very impressed. The hotel looks amazing, the staff were helpful and the rooms were comfortable. My only reservation was that to get to our room was a bit of a trek on foot and a strange experience if you take the lift. As I have an intolerance to all foods containing Rapeseed Oil I was impressed to discover that the staff checked all the food and were able to advise me which ones were safe to eat. The food, when it did arrive was excellent. Recommended!
