Kategna Ethiopian Restaurant & Bar - (Near Lambeth, South East)

Adrienne G A Toca had an extensive menu showcasing the vast Portuguese dishes. We were met with a friendly waiter and ordered a few dishes that all came out very filling. The seafood rice was rich in flavour, the umami from the mussels and prawns came through. What was a standout with this dish was the serving portion for the price point and the amount of seafood you actually get. The grilled octopus was nicely charred and cooked well, not too chewy. The pork and clams dish was an unexpected star of the dish. Not familiar with this combo, it surprisingly melded nicely together. It was seasoned well and the potatoes with the dish still had a nice crunch to it despite it soaking up the delicious sauce. Would come back here again!

Bhekani D Maseko Absolutely tasty African cuisine. I really enjoyed the food I got from Afro Cabbana - the pap was particularly well made. I recommend this eatery unreservedly.

F1 Ology Mumbai Delight? It certainly lives up to the name. I ordered a takeaway via Deliveroo and, honestly, this might be some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had. Everything was packed with flavour and clearly cooked with care. The lamb bhuna was outstanding, generous portions of tender meat, rich and properly spiced. The garlic naan was excellent too, soft, fragrant, and spot on. But the real surprise was the mushroom rice, which may genuinely be the best I’ve ever had. Incredibly flavourful and absolutely delicious. I can’t comment on the in-house service as this was a takeaway, but judging by the quality of the food and the strong reviews, I’ve no doubt it lives up to expectations. This is definitely a place I’ll be making the effort to visit in person hopefully sooner rather than later. Highly recommended.

Sohan & Othora A great new spot with a warm atmosphere and flavourful, well-prepared dishes. The menu is focused, the service is friendly and attentive, and everything feels thoughtfully done. Definitely worth a visit and likely to become a local favourite.

KAIWEN DONG I came to Noci just to give it a try and it completely surprised me in the best way. The bread was amazing and the pasta was absolutely delicious. The service was also very friendly and welcoming. The lunch meal deal is great value and the time window for it is quite long, which makes it really convenient. Overall it was a fantastic experience and definitely worth visiting. I would happily come back again.

C-Reviews Pub is bright and light yet still feels traditional. I loved the Sunday menu, so many different and unique options on one sheet without flicking through a long menu. There was a dish to please everyone without any dish being boring, which is quite hard to achieved. Food was a 4/5, with some dishes slightly missing the mark - but overall, I’d love to return. The orange rosé was amazing - a must try drink! Lovely Sunday lunch experience, thank you!
