Nabeen Choudhury Great food, very well priced, open till late which helps during ramadan. Staff were spot on and the food was super quick. Definitely coming back and the tenders were phenomenal!

Monisha Amos Really enjoyed our visit to Salash Kitchen in South Woodford. The service was warm, friendly, and attentive throughout, which made the experience even better. The food was tasty and clearly freshly prepared, with great flavours across the table. I went for the Adana kofte, which turned out to be a very good choice, perfectly cooked, well-seasoned, and full of flavour. The portion size for the mains was generous and satisfying. The only slight letdown was dessert, as the portions felt a bit small compared to how good everything else was. That said, it didn’t take away too much from an otherwise very enjoyable meal. Overall, a lovely spot with good service and quality food, and I’d definitely return.

Chiamaka Udeh I’m hard to please when it comes to Igbo soups but Alaowerri surpassed my expectations. I ate Oha soup with poundo yam. I’ve never eaten Oha soup this good in London. Also got beef suya from here. The suya was so tasty. The food portions are huge. The guy who attended to us was warm and friendly too. I love the ambience in the restaurant as well. I’m defo revisiting.

rajiv hadnt had the chance to check out the original in soho/chinatown but only heard good things so was excited to try it when a branch opened up on portobello. cool looking spot with great service. the pork belly was tender with a nice crunch on top and came with a really nice, tangy sauce. sweetcorn fritters were crispy and moreish, we were sat at the bar so nice to see this all being made in front of us. our favourite starter though was the chicken and green mango salad, amazing dressing on this one (recommended by our server Nuria). the tom yam mama was another top dish, that soup is super flavourful and rich. the portions feel a bit small for the price but the food was all delicious

Maddie Sheehan We recently came to China City to celebrate a birthday. The service was great everyone who served us was friendly. The food was tasty and portions were big. What truly made the night exceptional was Frank who went above and beyond and made our experience really enjoyable!
