LA Cafe - (Near Sutton, South East)

5 /5 Neena Erinjery: I had such a wonderful experience at LA Cafe The quality of the food truly sets this place apart. You can taste the freshness in every bite and see the care in the presentation. The smoked salmon scrambled eggs were perfectly creamy with a delicate undertone of truffle that elevated the whole dish — beautifully balanced and indulgent without being overpowering. The chef’s special carrot soup was warm, comforting and packed with natural flavour, showing that even simple dishes are executed to a very high standard. Combined with the welcoming atmosphere and friendly service, this is easily one of the best café experiences I’ve had in London. A well-deserved 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

5 /5 Márcio Fanchin: From walk-in to payment we had an amazing experience. Chef Ankur guided us through the menu and suggestions, what a friendly guy. I had the avocado toast and the ingredients, my goodness, so delicious. Sadly I wasnt fast enough to take a pic of it, but totally worth it. Lastly, tried the Belgium Waffle and, again, it didnt disappoint. Definitely has become one of my favourite places and will be a regular stop on our weekends!

5 /5 Nikhil Mulane: La Cafe in Sutton is truly a hidden gem. The food is absolutely exceptional — Michelin-star quality in a cosy café setting. Every dish is full of flavour, beautifully presented, and clearly made with passion and care. The owner is incredibly energetic, welcoming, and humble. You can genuinely feel the love and soul poured into the food and the atmosphere. Sutton is lucky to have this place. Highly recommend!

5 /5 Arun Upadhyay: Chef Ankur is creating something truly special at this small yet charming café. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and promptly shown to our table. Ankur took great care in walking us through the menu, thoughtfully explaining the dishes and highlighting the subtle French influence woven into his food. The coffee was excellent, and the hot chocolates brought big smiles to the kids. We tried the pancakes, avocado toast, BAP, and the English breakfast. The pancakes and avocado toast were simply outstanding. As we were leaving, Ankur even prepared a takeaway coffee for me — which turned out to be the highlight of the visit, though I can’t recall the name of that particular coffee. A must go place. I wouldn’t be surprised if LA Café earns one of those fancy stars in the near future.
