Mike M Amazing new pop-up doing all things jollof. The grilled chicken was insanely flavourful and came with a couple of sauces for dipping, plus a mound of their expertly cooked rice. Owner was lovely too.

Elias P Not only is the food really incredible, but the service is really full of love. They always do their best to find as a table, even though it’s fully booked. We had the special sole fish; daal, paratha, keema, prawns and for starters the puri. It was like a trip to india. If you’re not a fan of alcohol you should definitely try the coconut ginger lassi. Sabrina S I’ve been coming to San Marino in Brixton for years and it has always been one of my absolute favourite spots. It’s a family-run café and you really feel that warmth every time you walk in — the staff are genuinely welcoming and make you feel at home. The food is consistently amazing, especially the breakfasts, which are some of the best in Brixton. Everything is always fresh, well-cooked and generous, and it’s the kind of place you can rely on every single time. I’ve brought friends and family here over the years and it’s always the first place I recommend. I also love that they now have a bar in the evenings — the cocktails and atmosphere are brilliant and it’s become my go-to spot before and after gigs. Every visit reminds me why I keep coming back. Always leave happy, full, and already planning the next visit.

Lionel T Tasty Caribbean fusion food at reasonable price. Big portions - 3 tapas dishes was too much for one person! Staff are friendly and the owner stops for a chat with patrons. King prawns, cod fritters and empanadas were tasty.

Centaurus Eurythion (Saggitarius Rex) We visited this restaurant located in Brixton right next to the Briton Village entrance. A lively gastropub with an amazing staff. The hostess was a girgeois woman who welcomed us like we were coming home from work. The chef does a marvelous job with the shirt ribs, pork belly and the ribs! The chocolate mouse was sift and delicate and the gin and tonics spot on! Visit this establishment when in Brixton. Cimpliments to the chef!!!

Toby B Burgers absolutely next-level delicious. Big mustard seeds in the sauce are really innovative and tasty. The owner gave me the wrong meal but was very understanding about it when I returned shortly after so tops marks for customer service!
